WarioWare DIY came to DS in 2009 (2010 in NA/EU), and even for WarioWare games it was quite different. This installment of the series was definitely more of a spin-off, as it was all about giving the player the ability to create their own microgames! While the tools were a little different from what Nintendo used, the end result was a fully functional microgame builder that spawned all kinds of amazing content.
While Nintendo may have long forgotten about WarioWare DIY, fans haven’t. This dedication to this classic DS game has led to a rather impressive creation. If you want to see some of the many incredible microgames fans have created with WarioWare DIY, you can now do so with just a few clicks on your web browser of choice.
The DoujinSoft gang has updated their website to allow WarioWare DIY microgame play sessions. You can scroll through the galleries of fan creations, click a single button, and then you can try out the game! It’s important to note that some of the components in these microgames may not be 100% faithful to their original design, but they are extremely close to the real thing.
