Led by the late designer Virgil Abloh, Off-White has dominated the high fashion scene since its launch in 2014, and now the brand is embarking on an exciting new adventure in beauty. Its new “Paperwork” beauty line released the first drop today, with the brand calling the new venture a “blank canvas in a new realm” and a “creative platform of visionary elements that celebrate color across the perfume, make-up and nails”.
The first look at the brand came during the Off-White Fall 2022 show, where catwalk models like Kendall Jenner walked the runway wearing face stencils which referred to the upcoming new line. According to vogueAbloh described Paperwork as “another canvas, another surface for human expression” before he passed away last fall.
Off—White announced the new venture on social media with laboratory imaging, teasing today the “Paperwork” perfume collection. “The “PAPERWORK” fragrance collection explores the notion of perfume as a statement of self. Designed by Virgil Abloh in collaboration with renowned perfumers Alexis Dadier, Jérôme Epinette and Sidonie Lancesseur, four solutions connect the dots between perfume and imagination , drawing inspiration from 90s nostalgia, classic candles and natural earth elements. the brand captioned the post on Instagram.
The collection acts as a “toolbox”, with four signature fragrances, six nail polishes, six assorted color pigment sticks and several face stencils (just like the ones on the show. With only the fragrances currently available on the Off White website so far, the new line will also be available through an exclusive partnership with an online retailer Farfetch.
