Recent versions and Play Store updates have blocked and limited storage access for all apps without a workaround. Maps, databases, photo editors, backups, and file management apps are all dead from blocked or limited storage. The only workaround is to get them from F-Droid where more app permissions are allowed. This means that there is no more revenue to fund the apps.

This site is full of people who shout and demand several years of OS updates, but they are also the ones who shout even louder when an actual update is released and claim that the updates only do To make matters worse, they also actively try to stay on their current version and do everything to block this update.

Another year, another major feature – bump version. The operating system still lacks fundamental core functionality tones. The API is a far cry from the state of the NT API which was back in 1993 after only 2 years of development. Yet he got stuck and going nowhere for years.

Imagine spending at least $800 on a phone without seeing its interfaces and features first. He/She even has 4 months before the launch of the S22 to find out what the newest pixel looks like.
S22 is literally this year’s phone and One UI has had its own design language since 2019.
It would be more understandable if the comments were made by a former Samsung phone user (S8/S9 series) and complained about One UI 1 upgrades.
In conclusion, it’s either a fake comment or a total st*pid.

There’s a reason why Samsung has the biggest phone market share, it’s because most people love the One UI design and features.
Only a very small percentage of users (less than 1%) like the stock Android design, hence why Pixel and Sony are the brands with the smallest market shares in the world.

What kind of restrictions are they going to add here? Some of my apps can no longer see downloaded files on the SD card while others had their own download directory inaccessible to file managers.
This turns into a kindergarten operating system.
